15 Sep It’s Already Good!
Before I get started, I want to let you all know that I HAVE MERCHANDISE!! Guess what? You can get it here on this website! I’m so excited about it! I have crewnecks, sports jackets, t-shirts, joggers, backpacks, and tank tops! I’m so excited to share it and I hope you all love them as much as I do! Order one now!
This year, I am really loving it. I loved it last year, but it’s so different going back and having been at Colorado Ballet PP already. I was given the wonderful opportunity to dance for Dancers for a Cure, a fundraiser for one of my teachers as well as working towards finding a cure for cancer. I was able to see all the Colorado studios and companies join together and be as one. It was really amazing. I also got to see the Colorado Ballet perform from the wings and it was truly incredible. I performed the Garland Waltz from Sleeping Beauty. It was a huge production with 20 or so girls in it. Everyone danced beautifully.
I perform in our first New Works piece this upcoming Saturday! It’s a brilliant 10-minute ballet by one of the principal dancers with Colorado Ballet, Domenico Luciano. It’s a classical piece, that’s very intricate and creates really beautiful lines. It was such a fun process working with everybody in Pre-Pro, and I feel I got to know everyone through it.
It’s also nice having awesome roommates! I love having 3 roommates. I’m a very extroverted person, so having more roommates makes it more fun! We have a list of movies we want to watch every weekend, things we want to do together, and we are all neat-freaks! Our apartment stays clean! I love them all.
I’ve also been having a lot of fun discovering new ways to make paleo versions of food! The other day, I made paleo pretzel bites! I’ll be putting the recipes in separate blog posts, but I think you will all enjoy them!
Thanks for following my journey to ballet! Again, go check out my merch! If you have any questions, you can email me at email@example.com or DM me on Instagram at @journeytoballet.
