This year was a crazy audition season. I auditioned for Ballet Met, Colorado Ballet, Ballet Oregon, and Alonzo King LINES. I was accepted into the Summer intensives for Ballet Met, Ballet Oregon, and Colorado Ballet. Keep in mind that I auditioned for the year-round program, so I was a little disappointed with the results. I emailed Ballet Met and asked if I was going to receive a separate email with the year-round results. They said no, and that I was not accepted. Okay, fine. Ballet Met was just one school, and besides Colorado was my first choice. I got accepted to the summer intensive in Colorado. Again, an email was sent to their school, asking if I was to get a separate email with my year-round results. They said yes, but they would tell me right then. I got accepted to the year-round program at Colorado Ballet!! I was and am elated. Also, they said they did not need to see me at the Summer Intensive because I got really good results from the audition. The situation could not have turned out better. I am very excited to attend next year and spend time with my family this summer. (:
