Going Nowhere but Up

Going Nowhere but Up

Everything has been going up steadily. I’m looking into companies for next year. I’m really excited! So far, the auditions in my calendar are Colorado Ballet and Alonzo King Lines. There are a few others but the dates haven’t come out yet, so we need to see if it works with the other auditions. I’m also going to be trying for some summer intensives. The only summer intensive I really want to get into, if I decide to go to one, is Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell. But I’m going to be as open to anything as possible.

My knee stopped hurting! I went to a chiropractor, but wasn’t allowed to get an adjustment without a parent signature. Not only that, but it was crazy expensive so I decided to just ice my knee. Now it doesn’t hurt! It might have been an inflamed tendon or something in my body that got over worked. I’m just glad I don’t have to worry about it anymore.

Babysitting has been going great. I’ve been working a lot, but learned through experience that I need to limit my amount of work and hang out with friends every once in a while. I think when I get into a company next year, I will try to get babysitting jobs. As an apprentice, they don’t pay unless you’re in a ballet so the extra money could be very useful.

Today is Halloween. I recently got interested in the TV show, The Office. So I dressed up as Dwight Schrute. I think I did pretty well on my costume, although I could be mistaken as a nerd. I’m not trick or treating, but I’m going to make s’mores at my cousins house, so I’m excited about that! I’d love to hear what everyone dressed up as for Halloween in the comments!
